Getting Braces

I'm getting braces!!! I am getting them on top and bottom. I have to get them at 9:00 in the morning in 10 days. They said that it will take an hour and 15 min. to get them on. The braces stay on for 2 years and then I take them off and I have to wear a retaner for 2 years. I think that I'm going to get pink and green rubber bands on them. In one year they are going to have to do surgery and take out a bone on top of my wisdom teeth and then take my wisdom teeth out. I know that it is kind of early for me to get my wisdom teeth pulled. I have an aunt that didn't wear her retaner when she got braces and then when she tried to put it back in it wouldn't fit. So, my dad told me to do exactly what the orthidonist says to do or the braces might not work. My dad also told me that when my mom got her wisdom teeth pulled they gave her medicane called "laughing gas" and when they work on your teeth it should make you laugh. That cheered me up about the whole thing. I think that braces are made to make your teeth healthy looking and straight teeth. I will as soon as possible put a picture of me with braces on my blog and I think you will see a big differance of what I looked like.
